Evenfall is a kingdom of gothic beauty and ancient chivalry, known for its marble roads and radiant gardens. Beneath that veneer of starlight and honor, a darkness has festered for a decade. The Slumber Cult has been silently abducting the city’s people, led by the treacherous Minister of Trade, Silas Drenn. Drenn has fallen, but the nightmare is far from over.
The remaining cultists have retreated into the undercity, turning their stronghold into a lethal labyrinth of narrow corridors and jagged stone. They are not merely hiding—they are preparing an exodus, intending to flee with the city’s stolen wealth and a final group of innocent hostages.
This adventure blends a race against time, brutal environmental hazards, and a waterfront climax. Navigate a complex maze where every failed check or delay fills the “clock,” drawing the cult closer to escape. Survive snare traps, poison gas, falling spikes, and deceptive false doors meant to crush the unwary. Confront the conspiracy at the final dock before treasure and prisoner ships vanish into the black water. Stand alongside the direct, task-driven guardsmen Leath and Oren to root out what is left of the cult—and earn your place in the Guild Vault with uncommon magic such as a wand of magic missiles, slippers of spider climbing, or the mysterious deck of illusions.
